The tradition of combining quality and innovation ranks high on Commend International’s list of priorities. For many years, this has been linked to another tradition: the tradition of honouring suppliers for their outstanding support in keeping these values alive.

As the formal expression of this appreciation, the “Commend Supplier of the Year Award” acknowledges the outstanding achievements in quality of individual Commend suppliers, as well as their extensive contributions to the innovative solutions and their success with Commend customers.

2004 marked the beginning of the excellent co-operation between Commend International and design studio Industrial Design Attersee of Wolfgang Wurm. It all began with the awarding of a contract for a direct dialling keypad. Since then, all Commend products have been featuring the uniformly innovative trademark looks of the pre-eminent Salzburg-based industrial design studio. The current highlight is the series of wallmount stations with its particularly ergonomic concept and refined features such as the flattest handset in the security and communications industry. The driving force behind the design firm is owner and consummate industrial design pro Wolfgang Wurm. His outstanding trademark is his extraordinary passion as a professional. From the earliest stages of a project, his design drafts will evolve in close co-operation with the Commend product development team and will typically translate into amazingly vivid illustrations and 3-D models. The results are always impressive to look at (and listen to): appealing products with an appealing design. That, too, is Intercom 2.0.
